Sad to read this. Can u explain us why u lost the interest on DC?
Anyway, If u want, u should shared ur knowledge to others.
This way they can help u and accelerate the process. Pretty obvious.
Is too much work for one person.

Well there isn't much to explain, right after I've made the first test tool(screenshot in the first post) for some reason(don't remember what it was) I've stop working on it for a few days and usually when that happen it last a while but like I've said it's just for the time being so I'll return to it soon or later.

All right, just take it easy leo. I see that u focus on to many games.
Not offence, but some of them, for me, aren't important.

But yeah, u are on ur own right, at the end u take ur time creating this tools and shared them with us.

U deserve recognition (or maybe u just have it already) for making all that fantastic RE123's tools. Of course, other members from invision free and other forums too.
Many of them contributed to the community and some help u too.
Would be unfair not give them credit.
U give some credits anyway.

Not to mention people from xentax, zophar and other awesome sites, sharing valuable stuff.

Any chance you might work on this again? It's a long shot but thought I'd bring this up again. Does DC1 use the same bones system as RE3? If so, it doesn't look like we'll be able to export animations. But even just having the model viewer handy would be pretty awesome. It's a shame DC doesn't just use the EMD format RE uses, would be so much easier...

Sure I've plans to work on it again can't say when though cause I'm working on some other project when I'm in a mood.

As about bones, just like tugaevil15 I also believe that the game use bones basically I'm sure, at least the main characters and I don't see any way right now to extract animations...

Sadly but there isn't any news, I haven't work on it and I don't know if I'll ever do... All I can do is to release the source if you or someone else want it?

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmRvpG6REwddge1Gt8zkNwpjsyvIBg

Note: This WIP source isn't the latest I was working on(it missing texturing), I've lost the latest source after HDD crash a while ago, also the package include decompressor for Dino crisis...

I've been trying again to look at the 3D model formats of the game as of lately but I am still not able to do anything yet (Even with the DC1MV source code). Luckily room textures are easily editable thanks to Gemini, and lately I've been able to replace the textures of the door animations as well but still no idea how I am supposed to edit the geometry of the rooms, unfortunately  (And I really need that for my Beta-Restoration mod I'm working on)
