Resident Evil clone made in Unity
« on: August 28, 2015, 04:33:53 am »
Thanks to Leo2236 updating his RE2MV to support animations I decided to start working on a clone of Resident Evil on Unity. Now with the help of mortician we shall have full RDT import support and possibly EMD/PLD support in the near future. But for now Leo's script makes it easier to add animations to custom engines. When finished we plan to release the engine open source so people can build their own RE games as they see fit instead of using the old engines with bad modern OS compatibility.

Yeah I saw your project on the other forum and must say it's VERY promising as it's already, I always was thinking that so many time was  spended for creating mods and tools for the original RE123 instead we could already create what you trying to create and have much more control on what we could do, cause I really tired of those limitations you can't do this you can't do that...

I'm glad to hear that the mortician helping you out I hope soon the others will also join your project. Anyway good luck with the project @VirusPunk hope to see updates often :)

Yep, even with all the great tools the engines are still too limited and don't work properly on modern operating systems. Thanks for your suppot! :)
