I see, check the first post I've release the first version, it hasn't too many differences with the last version that you have but still it's better ;)

Finally I'm done with this tool(at least for now) I've spend on it many weeks and need a break from it, I guess now I'll work on RE3 tool after I'll take a break of course :)

DL Link is not working because of some mistake in the Link address

So change it to:   http://www.datafilehost.com/d/eea828da

That's working ;)

Thanks I've fixed it, I've simply copied the whole first post from the other site here without checking it, there the link is working anyway.

Hi Leo,

You have great stuff here, but will your GTTrackViewer have "export" option to some simple known format such as OBJ maybe :)?
Also, i'm working on tekken 2 and 3 and need some help. You seem to be really good in searching for resources in unknown archives :D.
I'd like to talk about that.

Regards.

Hi kamilm122,

I can't tell right now if GT Track Viewer will support OBJ at least in the near future as I'm busy with other stuff at the moment, so we'll see ;)

As about Tekken what problem do you have? Even though I don't know much about Tekken 3 and 2 data structure I still might be helpful :)

Leo

I think it needs separate topic or private talking.
I got facebook and skype, but i'm on skype more often: kamilm1222 [i don't need to talk via mic, so chat-only is enough ;)]
facebook: facebook.com/doxy128bit

For now on, i'm focused on tekken 2 mainly. My main "book of knowledge" is DGTEF from xentax.
The thing is to find something which reminds of some kind of "table of contents" like folders's list, and i found that.
But i stopped at that, i don't know where offsets could be hidden to the stuff i want to rip-off.

I was writing my own TMD ripper for general purposes, to extract TMD from any psx game. Sadly, not many games uses them that "straight".
Maybe some elements are taken from official sony documentary (psyq), to operate on data [i don't know, just my thought], but not everything.
Both in tekken 2 and 3, you can see via some HEX-Editor, when the main exe file is using typical functions which are documented in psyq, for loading TMDs and TIMs.
That was my first hint to write TMD extractor, but it failed because there are no TMDs in main archives. Just TIMs [textures] and vab files [sound].

So i'm stuck at knowing that i have a key to the main work, but i don;t know where to search for those damn offsets... I want to use character animations in the future project, that's why i want it :P.

The last few days I had advance a lot with tool, it already can view one track not with all object like in game but still it's a good progress. So I'm one more step(big) closer to the first release...

Could you fix this? I can't find the course.dat in the main file.
