So is .3DMK the T3 format or is that one you have made yourself? Also polycount wise what are we dealing with, are they higher poly than T1/T2's meshes or more or less the same?

Again nice work on your progress dude, I think when you release the tool Ol Mokujin will have to be the first port from T3 I will do ;)

Hey Leo had a chance to tinker with the tool and ran into a problem with it. Ok to start off had to wait until your forum came out of maintenance mod to post this  :D anyway Yoshimitsu will not port at all in Resident Evil 2. It doesn't matter if I do a full mesh replacement or just even one part of the mesh, it just doesn't like anything at all to do with the 2nd alt costume (the knight armour one.)

At first I thought it might have being the texture, turns out it wasn't that. Then went through all the other troubleshooting and again still nothing, you have any idea why it doesn't like the mesh at all?

Other than that:


;) Kazuya ported fine, I will keep testing what does and doesn't work and get back to you.

Just downloaded and tested, I have a strong feeling Tekken Evil 2 will also now have Tekken Evil added to the mix  ;) Thanks for making this tool Leo!

Going to post a few bits and pieces Maya users will find useful:

Firstly Leo no errors at all with the app it works perfectly.  ;D

Fixing the Normal Errors in Maya
1) Import the .obj data as usual
2) When imported export the mesh data as a .obj, on the export options uncheck save normals.
3) Re-import your newly exported mesh and voila the normals will be fixed.(remember to recheck normals on the export options!!!)

That was one of my first ideas ;) who wouldn't want to run around Raccoon or the mansion playing as King or Jack-2 etc? XD Plus its fascinating to actually be able to look at some of the 3d models from ps1 games (especially from the 90's era) mainly for nostalgia and research but that's about it. Awesome progress with your tool dude can't wait too see more!  ;D

After seeing these videos I am seriously considering going back, and re-playing this and Tekken 3 now xD haven't played on those in years.

As for the image dude could be a left over from the Arcade version of T2. ;) nice find!

 :o Thanks for keeping everyone updated on your progress dude. Also loving those Jack-2 textures xD looks like it totally runs in a different way to how capcom created their uv maps for RE, which is very damn interesting to say the least.
