The first release is almost ready, I'm just tweaking it here and there so I release it within the next few days. Here's the latest screenshot:

-RE3PLWEditor v0.1b- (Release date 14/06/2020)

It's an editor for Resident Evil 3 PLW files, those files contains weapons 3D models(*.MD2),
 textures(*.TIM), etc...

Each part inside *.MD2 can't have more than 256 vertices...

Replace "Data\PL00.TIM" with other characters main texture that are inside *.PLD so the whole *.PLW model look correctly...

"15" is amount of bones. But what is the next line:

Hi, the next line"4 1 2 9 12" is description of attached parts for the first part of the model which is torso, the first value(4) is amount of parts that attached to the torso and the rest are the parts indexes.

The next line"0" would be for the second part which is head and since it doesn't have any attached part to it the value amount equal 0...

And so on...

sorry I didn't answered you earlier, about your last question as far I can remember the each polygon data have some value(bit shift) that tell which palette to use in which polygon, that's all I can remember...
